Here at Smile Brite Dental the last thing we want to do on a patient is a tooth extraction. We love to focus on patient’s preventive care and help avoid a tooth extraction but this is not always the case. Our dentist Dr. Naushil Desai and his team are committed to finding ways to keep your oral health in good shape.

If you need of a tooth extraction, there are several methods we practice in our office. First, we will numb the area of extraction so that you do not feel any discomfort in the process of extraction. There will be pressure when the tooth extraction takes place, but other than that it is a smooth sailing procedure. If your tooth is fully grown and broken through the gums Dr. Naushil Desai will extract the tooth with his state of the art tools. After the tooth is extracted, we will clean the area and apply gauze to prevent any bleeding while your mouth heals. In some cases, where the tooth is still below the surface of your gums, then oral surgery may be required to remove the tooth.
